At Heritage Hmong Preschool, we believe every child deserves a joyful start to learning—one that nurtures curiosity, confidence, and cultural pride. Our bilingual Hmong program is student-centered and play-based, designed to help children explore, discover, and grow through meaningful hands-on experiences.

We are committed to preparing every child for kindergarten and beyond while fostering a lifelong love of learning. In our caring and inclusive environment, children feel safe, supported, and celebrated for who they are.

At Heritage Hmong Preschool, learning happens through play, connection, and culture—where every child’s voice is valued, and every day is a step toward a bright and confident future.

  • Thank you so much for your interest and support! We are truly excited to serve our families and community. We have no definite answer but are working hard behind the scenes and hope to welcome students in Spring 2026. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait to begin this journey together!

  • Our goal is to support children in becoming confident, joyful bilingual learners. Literacy and academic foundations will be taught primarily in English to help prepare students for kindergarten expectations. Social language, play-based interactions, and music will be taught in Hmong, allowing children to build cultural pride and everyday language skills in a natural and meaningful way.

We are excited to provide a balanced bilingual experience where children can grow, thrive, and celebrate both languages.

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to accept enrollments until our license is officially approved. In the meantime, we welcome you to join our waitlist and stay connected. We look forward to offering tours once our space is ready and are excited to share it with you soon.

  • In accordance with Minnesota state regulations, all students are provided with a minimum of 30 minutes of rest time. Children who do not fall asleep after this period will be offered a quiet activity to enjoy.

  • Absolutely not! Your child does not need to already speak Hmong. Our program is designed to welcome children at all language levels, and our teachers gently support language development through daily routines, play, and meaningful interactions.

  • Yes. To ensure a safe, sanitary, and engaging learning environment for all children, students enrolled in our program must be fully toilet trained prior to their first day of attendance. A child who is considered toilet trained is one who can use the restroom independently and does not experience daily accidents.

Please note that pull-ups do not meet the requirement for toilet-trained status.

We understand that even toilet-trained children may have occasional accidents. These are considered normal and expected to happen infrequently. We appreciate your partnership in helping us maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for every child.
